Burnham-On-Sea’s carnival festivities got underway with a spectacular seafront fireworks display on Sunday night (November 5th) watched by thousands of onlookers.
The display was unique this year as it was operated from a platform on the seafront and, with a high tide at firing time, onlookers saw a spectacular 20-minute display with the fireworks reflected on the sea.
The display was run by Bristol-based Skyburst, who also created specially constructed fireworks that spin and explode in the sea itself. The display featured a stunning finale when multiple shells rose and break up in a sky-filling blaze of red and silver. See See video footage from the sea here.
