Thousands of spectators lined Burnham’s seafront on Sunday night (November 7th) to watch the town’s spectacular fireworks display.
The dazzling 20-minute programme of fireworks was launched from a temporary scaffolding platform on the beach jetty, with the lights reflected on the surrounding sea water.
Mayor Michael Clarke told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “It was an absolutely fantastic show that exceeded expectations and was the best I’ve ever seen in Burnham.”
“It was wonderful to see such large crowds along the seafront supporting the event.”
Skyburst, the company that ran the event on behalf of the Town Council, told Burnham-On-Sea.com that the display had run “perfectly to schedule” – much to their relief after last year’s technical glitches.
