£4,000 was raised for charity when a group of brave fundraisers took part in a firewalk near Burnham-On-Sea on Friday evening (February 20th).
43 people strode across 20ft of burning embers at Somerset Court in Brent Knoll to raise sponsorship donations.
Organiser Karen Hart told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “I’m so relieved that it went safely, and I’m delighted that we’ve raised over £4,000 for Somerset Court and its facilities.”
“We are very grateful to all the staff and supporters who did the firewalk, raising such a superb amount.”
Somerset Court was the first specialist centre for people with autism in the UK and remains among the leading centres in the country.
