Burnham-On-Sea firefighters had a busy day on Saturday (January 6th) when they were called out to two incidents.
One crew was called to a fire underneath a silo at furniture makers Woodberry Brothers in Highbridge on Saturday morning, which was quickly extinguished.
And then at 1pm two crews rushed to Brean to tackle a fire at a domestic garage.
“We were called to an electrical fire in a smoke-logged garage at Brean,” explained a spokesman. “The fire was quickly extinguished and was caused by a fault in an electrical box.”
