A member of Burnham-On-Sea’s Inner Wheel club, has braved red-hot embers to raise money for a worthy cause.
Jenny Gamlin, pictured, completed the fundraising fire walk on Weston Beach in aid of Children’s Hospice South West.
“Before the Fire walk could commence the embers were raked and glowing in the darkness,” club spokeswoman Sandra Squire told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
“Jenny was the only member of our club to face the hot coals.”
“Having achieved it once, she wasn’t satisfied until she had completed it three times!”
Through sponsorship, she managed to raise £320 for the children’s hospice.
