Crews called to small electrical blaze at Burnham care home

-

Two fire engines from Burnham-On-Sea were sent a care home on Sunday (January 25th) following reports of an electrical fire.

Crews were called to Stratton House in Rectory Road, Burnham shortly after 9.45am.

“Crews confirmed there was a small electrical fire on the incoming electrical feed to the property,” said station officer Ian Hazleton.

Crews extinguished the fire using a CO2 extinguisher but crews were unable to isolate the electrics and so Western power were requested to attend.

No-one was injured and there was minimal damage.
