Fire crews from Burnham-On-Sea rushed to a holiday park in Brean on Wednesday afternoon (June 27th) after a blaze broke out in a chalet.
Five fire appliances from Burnham, Weston and Bridgwater were sent to Pontins after reports of the fire at 4.45pm.
“There had been a fire in a single storey chalet that had caused quite a lot of damage,” a Burnham fire spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
“It was out on arrival after the onsite fire wardens had extinguished the fire using several foam fire extinguishers.”
Crews confirmed that the blaze had started accidentally.
