Police have appealed for information after a Land Rover was set on fire by arsonists in a field near Burnham-On-Sea during the early hours of Tuesday morning (March 11th).
At 12.30am a fire crew from Burnham-On-Sea was sent to extinguish the vehicle in Rooksbridge, which was well alight.
Police were informed as Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue believes the fire was set intentionally.
“Crews used one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire. The vehicle appeared to have been abandoned in the field,” a spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
“Burnham Police were informed and the cause of the fire was believed to be deliberate.”
