Burnham-On-Sea firefighters were among several crews called to extinguish a blaze in a flat on Sunday morning (October 25th).
Crews from Burnhm, Cheddar, Blagdon and Weston were sent to a property in St Mary’s Street, Axbridge at 7.30am.
“Crews confirmed that smoke was issuing and got to work using two breathing apparatus, a hose reel jet and a covering jet. Crews confirmed that all persons were accounted for,” said a fire spokesman.
The source of the fire was extinguished by 8am and crews then ventilated the property before leaving the scene. No-one was hurt.
