Burnham-On-Sea and Bridgwater fire crews were called out after reports of a property fire in East Huntspill on Tuesday evening (April 18th).
Firefighters were called at 5.50pm following reports of a fire at a house in New Road, East Huntspill.
On their arrival crews found a fire in the property that was confined to the chimney.
Crews used chimney gear to extinguish the blaze and make the property safe.
