Burnham-On-Sea firefighters tackled a car blaze in the town on Monday afternoon (April 8th).
One fire engine from Burnham was called to Worston Lane, Burnham just before 3.10pm to reports of a fire.
“On arrival, crews confirmed this was a vehicle, well alight, very close to a property,” said a spokesman.
“The fire was extinguished using two breathing apparatus wearers, one hose reel jet, and one compressed air foam jet and 1 safety jet.”
“The vehicle sustained 60% fire damage and the property suffered some heat damage to the fascia and guttering. The cause was accidental.”
