A Burnham-On-Sea fire crew was called to Brean on Monday afternoon (May 26th) after a young child became trapped in a car.
The youngster had accidentally been locked inside a family vehicle at a caravan park.
One fire engine from Burnham was sent to the scene shortly before 2pm to help.
Ian Hazleton, Burnham Fire Officer, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We made an entry to the vehicle and the child was successfully released by our crew.”
He added: “Fortunately, the whole incident was over in a matter of minutes.”
