Burnham-On-Sea Police issued a fresh appeal for information on Friday (October 6th) about an arson attack on two barns in East Huntspill.

As previously reported by Burnham-On-Sea.com, the fire happened at about 1am on Sunday September 24th at Smithy Farm when two barns were completely destroyed in the blaze, as pictured here.

Two people, aged 21 and 19, were arrested on suspicion of arson and were released on bail pending further enquiries – but police are now keen to speak to other people who may have witnessed the blaze.

“Police are particularly keen to speak to anyone who was in the Church Road area at about 12.30am,” a spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com on Friday (October 6th).

Anyone with information is asked to contact DC Cook at Burnham CID on 0845 4567000.
