Firefighters rushed to Burnham-On-Sea’s Swim and Sports Academy on Sunday evening (March 28th) after reports of smoke being seen above the building.
But when fire crews arrived at the property in Berrow Road at 7pm, as pictured, they were relieved to find the incident was a false alarm.
A spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We received a report of smoke being seen above the building, but our crews confirmed this was caused by a nearby garden incinerator.”
