A piece of burnt toast sparked a call-out for Burnham-On-Sea’s fire crew on Tuesday morning (February 2nd).
Fire fighters were called to the David Salisbury factory on Highbridge’s Isleport Industrial Estate at 9.45am to investigate.
Fire spokesman Paul Slavin told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “One fire engine was called to the factory after a smoke alarm at the premises was activated.”
“It turned out that a piece of toast had set off the alarms – our team ventilated a kitchen area, but no other action was needed.”
