A day of showers meant a summer fayre at a Burnham-On-Sea nursing home on Saturday took place inside.
Burnham Nursing and Residential Home in Oxford Street held the annual event, which still attracted a steady flow of visitors.
The fayre included a prize raffle, afternoon teas, cakes, various stalls, a fun pet show, entertainment from a brass band, and a tombola.
“Our thanks go to all those who popped in to the fayre. Although the weather was very changeable, we made a profit of £234.25 and also received a kind donation of £100 from one lovely visitor, making a grand total of £334.25,” one of the organisers, Helen Somers, told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
