Bargain hunters flock to Highbridge fundraising fashion show

-

Over 100 bargain hunters flocked to King Alfred School in Highbridge on Tuesday evening (February 7th) for a popular fundraising fashion show.

Organised by Burnham-On-Sea Rotary Club and the Inner Wheel Club, the fifth annual event was hailed a success after raising hundreds of pounds for local charities.

“We had a very good turnout of ladies who were able to choose from a wide range of quality clothes while helping local charities,” Rotary Club President Ian Breed told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

A raffle raised £240, ticket sales raised £565 and the bar raised more than £60 – raising a total of over £800.
