Over 120 bargain hunters flocked to King Alfred School in Highbridge on Thursday evening (January 31st) for a popular fundraising fashion show.
Organised by Burnham-On-Sea Rotary Club and the Inner Wheel Club, the sixth annual event was hailed a success after raising hundreds of pounds for local charities.
“We had a very good turnout of ladies who were able to choose from a wide range of quality clothes while helping local charities,” the Rotary Club’s Hugh Mackay told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
Inner Wheel President Debbie Spragg added: “This event had a dual purpose of raising money for charity and there were also some terrific bargains to be had, especially during these difficult times.”
