-

Several explosions were heard in Brean on Tuesday night (April 10th) after a blaze set alight a gas cylinder.

Two Burnham-On-Sea fire crews rushed to the village at 10.52pm after a trailer tent was reported on fire at a caravan park.

A fire spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “The crews confirmed that a trailer tent was well alight.”

“Crews got to work extinguishing the fire using one hose reel jet. Several explosions occured during the fire due to an LPG cylinder being involved.”

No-one was believed to have been hurt in the incident.
