Events organisers in the Burnham-On-Sea area will be meeting together on Tuesday January 31st to try and avoid diary clashes.
A joint meeting is being planned for those involved in holding events in Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge during this year.
The planning meeting will be held in the seafront Tourist Information Centre at 7pm.
“As in previous years, we are compiling a list of events for 2017 to help advertise and avoid clashes where possible,” said Burnham’s Tourism Manager Ian Jefferies.
“I invite organisers to email me any event dates they have planned for 2017 so I can start to compile a list before the meeting. Also please do send dates through if you do not intend to come to the meeting.”
“We have been avoiding clashes and also promoting the use of shared resources like stewards, gazebos etc. The online what’s on guide allows visitors and locals to plan their days out and we want to get as many events in there for 2017 as possible.” More details from Ian by email at: ianfromburnham@gmail.com
