Events organisers in the Burnham-On-Sea area will be meeting together later this month to try and avoid diary clashes.
Ian Jefferies, manager at BIARS (Burnham Information and Rescue Support), is overseeing the meeting of events organisers from across Burnham and Highbridge, which will be held on Thursday 30th January at 7pm in the Bay Centre, Cassis Close.
“The idea behind this meeting is to collate all events for mass promotion and to avoid clashes of events where possible,” said Ian. “This is an opportunity to come up with a great programme for 2014.”
“Some who are thinking of organising events may feel their event is too small. Perhaps we can get some of you together to put on a big event by joining forces? I’m sure between us all we have enough contacts to help.”
He added: “Those who cannnot make this meeting but have some dates planned should email them to me at ianfromburnham@gmail.com with details so we can work around them and also help promote them.”
