Entries open for 2020 Highbridge Festival Of The Arts as syllabus is announced

-

Entries have opened for the 2020 Highbridge Festival of The Arts, which will be the 73rd to be held in Highbridge and Burnham-On-Sea.

While the event won’t be held until the Spring, the closing date for entries is 31st December, 2019.

The popular festival attracts hundreds of entries from around the region and will be held at several locations in Burnham and Highbridge.

“We shall look forward to welcoming all the performers from across the South West,” the festival’s general secretary Clare Catcheside told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

“There are separate syllabuses for Speech and Drama, Dance and Music this year. The Festival is a wonderful opportunity for you to showcase your talents or to come along as a member of the audience and appreciate the performance of others.”

“The 2020 Festival will take place between 2nd and 14th March and new for this year are three special classes in Speech/Drama, Dance and Music to compete for The Dorothy Reaney Trophy. Please see the Syllabuses for more details of this exciting opportunity and to download entry forms.”

The full syllabus is available to download here.
