A new exhibition of striking abstract artwork by local artist Elizabeth Matthews has opened at a Burnham-On-Sea art gallery.
In addition to her paintings, which are created predominantly in acrylics and mixed media, she is also displaying ceramic art at Sea Breeze in Victoria Street.
Alongside Elizabeth’s work, Burnham artist Tim Duke is exhibiting various pieces of his abstract art, including a new panoramic image of Bath. Claire Spriggs is showing her water colour portrait sketches of people and animals, plus quirky gouache illustrations.
The free entry exhibition, with exhibits to buy, runs until Saturday 6th November. Opening hours are 10.00 until 5.30pm Monday to Friday, except Wednesday (early closing at 2.00pm), with Saturday 10.00 until 5.00pm.
