A festive meal and concert for more than 50 elderly residents has been held at Burnham-On-Sea’s Baptist Church.
The event, arranged by Somerset Carers, featured musical performances from Churchfield School Choir and Highbridge singer Gypsy Watkins.
Festive refreshments were also served to the audience through the afternoon and it was all topped off with a special visit by Santa.
The event was funded by Burnham-On-Sea Lions Club, which we reported here gave £500 towards the costs of organising it to help elderly people come together over the festive period.
