Third time lucky? Twice-postponed Easter Egg hunt set for Sunday

-

West Huntspill Model Railway’s rearranged Easter Egg Hunt is set to be finally held this Sunday (April 22nd) after being postponed twice due to wet weather.

West Huntspill Model Engineering Society had rescheduled its event from Easter Day to last weekend but then heavy rain left fields at its site water-logged, as pictured here.

Now, organisers have decided to try for a third time to hold the egg hunt this Sunday, April 22nd, from 2pm.

The group’s Di Barnard told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “Let’s hope this will be third time lucky!”

“The egg hunt will take place between 2 and 2.30pm, the Miniature Trains will run from 2.30pm to 4.30pm. Refreshments will be available and there will be a colouring competition. Buy a £1 train ride and get a free ticket for the Egg Hunt.”

“We are hoping the weather will be kind enough this time.”
