Heavy rain halts West Huntspill Easter Egg hunt for a second time

-

Flooding and water-logging has caused West Huntspill’s rearranged Easter Egg Hunt to be postponed for a second time.

West Huntspill Model Engineering Society had rescheduled the event for this weekend but heavy rain this week has caused these soggy scenes.

Organisers have decided to cancel the event once again.

The group’s Di Barnard told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “Unfortunately, we have had to delay the egg hunt planned for this Sunday again.”

“These photos were taken yesterday and there’s no way it’s going to be dry enough for this Sunday.”

“We are hoping the weather will be kind enough to allow us to run on 22nd April.”
