Eagle-eyed Burnham-On-Sea shoppers are able to win £100 over Easter by taking part in a fun competition to find unusual items hidden in shop windows across the town.
Organised by Burnham’s Chamber Of Trade, the annual competition to ‘spot the odd item in the shop window’ started on Saturday (March 28th) and runs until Sunday 12th April.
Over 20 town centre businesses have put items that they don’t usually sell in their windows or online and the public are invited to find as many of them as possible.
Entry is free and the first prize is £100 cash with other gift voucher prizes available for the runners-up.
Entry forms are available now from Burnham’s Tourist Information Centre on the seafront and participating shops.
A Burnham-On-Sea Chamber of Trade spokesman said: “This free competition is always a lot of fun and attracts more people into our town centre over the Easter holidays.”
“The Chamber believes Burnham has a great range of independent shops and with generous prizes on offer, we hope as many people will enter as possible and visit.”
Among the town businesses taking part is Burnham-On-Sea.com, which has an item hidden on its front page. The other businesses include BIARS, S&A Linens, Julians, With Love, Burnham Goldsmiths, DJ Bull, Sentiments, Home Hardware, Flowers and Things, Weston Hospicecare, KDS Interiors, Kyffins Health Foods, Material Needs, Thomas’ Shoe Repairs, Hidden Treasures, Burnham Angling, Princess Theatre, Scotts, Ritz Cinema, Sea Breeze, Burnham Printers & Stationers, Crafty Tea Cup, Positive Wealth Creation and First Class Learning.
