Easter Day procession with the cross held along Burnham’s seafront

-

Members of Burnham-On-Sea Community Church celebrated Easter Day with a procession along the town’s seafront on Sunday morning (April 20th).

The church’s morning celebration was preceded by a walk with the cross from Burnham’s Pavilion to the Manor Gardens, as pictured here.

This was followed by a songs of celebration event in the gardens with music and refreshments with an Easter Egg treasure hunt. Pastor Steve Mason said: “It was a wonderful event and a privilege to be able to walk with the cross and then celebrate Jesus’ victory at the bandstand in the Manor Gardens.”
