Easter Egg Hunt at Brean Down: The National Trust is holding an Easter Sunday Egg hunt from 10am – 2pm. £2.00 per entry. Follow the trail and answer the questions to receive a chocolate egg! Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Burnham Dreamscheme Easter Fun Day: Fun, games, activities and lots more on Easter Saturday from 11am-3pm in Burnham-On-Sea’s Manor Gardens. All families welcome.
Badger Bonanza Open Weekend at Secret World: Secret World Wildlife Rescue in New Road, East Huntspill will be open to the public on Good Friday, Easter Saturday, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday with talks, demonstrations and more. No admission charge, but donations will be welcome towards the work of helping wildlife. 10.00am – 4.00pm each day.
Easter Claymaking Workshop: Visitors to Highbridge’s Apex Park will be able to enjoy a free wildlife clay workshop on Saturday April 7th from 10am-12 noon. Children aged 8-12 years will be able to get creative – and messy – by taking part. The free event will be led by Burnham artist Margaret Micklewright and is being organised by the Friends of Apex Park. Places are limited and must be booked in advance by calling 01278 789855.
FolkFest Fundraising Day: Numerous acts will be performing at the Pier Tavern in Pier Street, Burnham from 1pm until late on Easter Sunday to raise funds towards the ever-increasing costs of holding Burnham’s late summer folk festival. More here.
Hovercraft station open day: BARB’s seafront headquarters will be open to the public from 11am-3pm on Easter Sunday. See the hovercrafts, meet the crew and support BARB by buying merchandise.
Meet Gilbert the Goose! Gilbert, a talking interactive goose display, will be greeting customers at Sanders Garden World in Brent Knoll, just off junction 22 of the M5, on Good Friday April 6th, Easter Saturday April 7th and Easter Monday April 9th during normal garden centre opening hours.
Easter coffee morning: Teas, cakes and coffees will be served at Burnham Methodist Church in from 10am on Easter Saturday morning.
Easter motorcycle Fun Ride: Meeting at the Bristol Bridge Inn in Highbridge at 10am on Easter Sunday and riding to Minehead. Proceeds to charity. Organised by Somerset Motorcycle Group.
Easter parade: Members of Burnham Community Church will be carrying a cross along Burnham seafront in an Easter Sunday parade from 10am. More here.
Easter Saturday car wash: The RNLI will be holding a fundraising car wash at their station in Pier Street from 10am-2pm on Saturday. More here.
