Hundreds of local people gathered in East Huntspill on Saturday (September 2nd) for the village’s long-running harvest home.
The annual event was held in a large marquee set up in a field next to Withy Road in the village.
After the traditional harvest lunch, there were competitions for best decorated baskets and scarecrows, plus live music and entertainment.
The area’s former MP Tessa Munt was among the special guests at the successful event.
“We had a great turnout again this year – around 500 people enjoyed the meal and we had dozens of helpers keeping it all running smoothly,” said one of the organisers.
