Police release e-fit photo after attempted robbery in Highbridge

-

Police have this week released this e-fit photo of a young man they want to speak to following an attempted robbery in Highbridge.

Officers say the incident occurred on Tuesday 2nd June at approximately 3pm in the town.

“A female aged 20 was walking in the lane from Pearce Drive towards Coronation Road when a male walked towards her in the opposite direction,” said a police spokeswoman.

“He was acting suspiciously looking into the hedges, then as they came together he stopped in front of her and held out his hand, revealing a blade.”

“Another female then entered the lane and the male ran off towards Pearce Drive.”

Police are appealing to anyone who recognises the man from the e-fit image to get in contact by calling 101, quoting reference 57829/15.

They are keen to ensure there are no further similiar incidents in the town.
