Tiny ducklings rescued by Burnham-On-Sea wildlife volunteers

-

Wildlife carers from Burnham-On-Sea have rescued these two tiny ducklings from a street in Weston this week.

The cute creatures are this week being cared for by the team at Secret World Wildlife Rescue in East Huntspill, near Burnham-On-Sea.

“These two beautiful ducklings were found in a street near Ellenborough Park in Weston-super-Mare where they were being stalked by a cat,” explained a spokesperson.

“A member of the public picked them up and handed them in to Beaconsfield Veterinary Clinic in Weston-super-Mare, from where one of our staff members collected them and brought them in to our centre.”

There was concern that if they were not rescued the cat would have killed the birds.
