Police officers who are investigating drug dealing in the centre of Highbridge have this week swooped on a property in the town for the second time in a fortnight.
This was the scene on Wednesday (April 15th) as officers entered the building in Church Street, just a fortnight after an earlier raid.
Police spokesman Steve Game confirmed to Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We entered a property in Church Street at 12.15pm and an arrest was made under the mis-use of drugs act.”
It comes a week after Burnham-On-Sea.com first reported that eight people had been arrested in the Burnham area following a series of drugs raids.
Earlier in the year, Highbridge residents decided that tackling drug dealing should be the number one priority for police in the town, as reported here.
