Police have made an arrest after raiding a home in Highbridge this afternoon (Thursday February 10th) when they seized cannabis plants and drugs.
Officers entered the home in South Avenue at 3pm after receiving information that the home was allegedly being used for drugs production.
Inspector Roger Tolley told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “A drugs search warrant was executed in South Avenue this afternoon and approximately ten cannabis plants were recovered, together with a quantity of suspected cannabis.”
“This is another good result for the Highbridge beat team following community based intelligence.”
He added that enquiries are ongoing into the seizure. One person was later arrested by police at the scene.
