A 49-year-old man has been arrested in Burnham-On-Sea following a drugs raid late on Wednesday night (August 25th).
Officers swooped on an address in Abingdon Street and arrested the man and a 34 year-old woman.
Police spokeswoman Cath Foster told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “Police were involved in a cross-border operation after a vehicle was stopped on the Severn Bridge.”
“Two warrants were executed and a 49-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possessing a Class C controlled drug.”
She added: “The man has been bailed pending further enquiries. A woman, aged 34, was also street bailed for possession of cannabis.”
