A woman has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving following this crash in Berrow at the weekend.
A child was hurt when the Vauxhall overturned on Sunday afternoon (September 6th) in a narrow lane that runs besides Burnham-On-Sea’s golf course, past the former Berrow Inn.
Police spokesman Craig Evry told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “Police have made an arrest and a 29 year-old woman from Birmingham has been charged with one count of driving while over the legal alcohol limit.”
“She has been released on bail and will appear at Taunton Magistrates Court on September 24th.”
A four year-old child was treated for at the scene by ambulance crews with a small head injury.
