A teenager has been arrested for drink driving after an overnight crash in Burnham-On-Sea.
Police charged the 19 year-old man with drink driving after his car slammed into this wall in Berrow Road, opposite the junction with Ash Tree Road.
Nearby residents reported being woken by a loud noise and looked outside to see the crash at 2am on Saturday (November 10th).
The man, who lives locally, has been bailed to appear before Taunton Deane Magistrates on December 5th.
Burnham Police are about to begin their traditional drink-driving campaign in the run-up to Christmas with extra checks of motorists planned for the coming weeks.
