Youngsters from Highbridge Dreamscheme have brought a dash of summer colour to the town this week.
They got together with leaders and planted scores of hanging baskets in the town’s Market Street and Church Street in readiness for this weekend’s Jubilee.
The group’s treasurer and secretary, Trish Hart, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “They will make the town look nice and colourful for the Jubilee and the summer months ahead.”
“The youths worked really hard and were fantastic. We would like to thank Highbridge Residents Association for all their help and would also like to thank the Town Council for giving us a grant towards the cost of the materials used.”
