This colourful drawing of buildings on Burnham-On-Sea’s Esplanade has been judged the winner of a competition to sketch scenes around the town.
Bill Edwards was awarded first place in the ‘Draw Burnham-On-Sea’ competition, held on Saturday (August 1st).
The contest was organised as part of the River Brue Visual Arts Festival and attracted a good number of entrants.
First prize was presented by Burnham artist Judith Champion, as pictured here.
Second place went to Christine Yard and joint third was awarded to Emily Broomsgrove and Beth Whetstone (both pictured below with Mr Edwards). Sea Breeze Gallery of Victoria Street donated the prizes.
