Burnham-On-Sea’s BARB Search & Rescue and the Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance have both been handed a financial boost by fundraisers at Brean.
Dave & Vic from the Sundowner Cafe at Beachside Holiday Park presented two cheques both to the value of £750 to the two worthy causes at the end of a Halloween-themed evening on Saturday (October 26th).
The first was handed to Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance from which most of the fundraising came from the now very popular classic car show in June run by Rob Coombes and the members of the Bridgwater Classic & Vintage Club.
The second cheque, also £750, went to the Burnham’s BARB Search & Rescue which was raised from the proceeds of the first motorbike show overseen by Somerset Motorcycle Group which was staged on the holiday park’s grounds over the summer.
