Burnham dolls house makers put on a great show for local charity

-

A unique exhibition showcasing the work of a group of Burnham-On-Sea dolls house makers drew a crowd of visitors on Saturday (July 19th).

Scores of tiny dollshouses and miniatures made by the members of the Burnham Dolls House Group went on show in the Community Centre in Berrow Road.

While admisison was free, donations to the group’s charity of the year, BARB Search & Rescue, were welcomed.

One of the organisers, Ann Nichols, told Burnham-on-Sea.com: “We had a good turnout during the day and thank everyone who came along. We are delighted to have raised £140 for BARB.”

Burnham Dolls House Group has been running for over seven years and held its first exhibition in 2006.

The club is open to newcomers and meets on the second and fourth Wednesday of every month in Highbridge Community Hall from 7-9pm. All are welcome.
