Owners of dog who has gone missing on Brean Down appeal for help

-

The owners of this lost dog have appealed for help in finding him after he went missing on top of Brean Down yesterday.

Zuke, an 8-year-old Huskey, has not been seen since around 2pm on Sunday (July 20th) when his owners were enjoying a walk.

Owner Caroline Hubball said: “We lost him when we were walking up to the trig point on top of the Down. We lost sight of him over the brow of the hill and have not seen him since.”

“He’s been a part of the family for many years since he was a puppy, so we are desperately keen to hear from anyone who has seen him.”

Burnham Coastguards and BARB were called to Brean Down on Sunday evening amid concern that several people had been seen walking around the base of the Down to search for the missing dog. Crews searched the Down for the dog and to ensure that no-one had put their own safety at risk.

Any sightings of the dog can be reported via Burnham-On-Sea.com here.
