Disgusted Burnham hospital bosses seek help in catching dog fouler

-

Disgusted bosses at Burnham-On-Sea Hospital have this week appealed for the public’s help in identifying a dog walker who continously deposits excrement at the rear of the property.

Tony Deahl, Chairman of The Friends of Burnham Hospital, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “An anti-social Burnham dog walker has thoughtfully bagged up their dog’s excrement, only to deposit the plastic bags between the contractor’s portacabins and the fence behind Burnham Hospital.”

“There are about 20 plastic bags, suggesting that this practice has become a habit rather than having been a one-off occurrence,” he added.

The contractors are currently working on the £750,000 refurbishment of the hospital, which is being jointly funded by Somerset Health and The Friends of Burnham Hospital.

“The problem has been reported to the dog warden by the contractor’s site manager and local residents, but so far the culprit has not been caught.”
