Staff, parents and children at Highbridge Children’s Centre have been celebrating Divali over the past week.
The events have included dressing up in traditional costume, making samosas and watching a video of Bollywood dance.
Manager Julian Plested told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “This was a good opportunity for everyone to find out about a major religious ceremony which is celebrated by a billion people across the world, including in Britain.”
“The families enjoyed the festivities and especially liked the chance to get involved in cooking and eating together.”
