Two men rescued from ditch in Brean by Burnham firefighters

-

Two people were rescued from a water-filled ditch by firefighters in the early hours of Saturday morning (October 22nd).

At just before 2am, firefighters from Burnham-On-Sea were called to the short access road leading into Brean Leisure Park from the mini roundabout in Coast Road.

A fire spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com that two people had been found stuck in the ditch after falling down a muddy bank.

The fire crew used a triple extension ladder and lines to retrieve the pair and they were tended to by paramedics suffering from cold and wet, but both had no further injuries.
