The occupants of this car had a lucky escape on Tuesday (November 3rd) when their vehicle careered off a road into a ditch near Burnham-On-Sea.
Fire, police and ambulance crews from Burnham rushed to the Causeway on the outskirts of East Huntspill at 2pm after the car’s driver lost control while negotiating a sharp bend, as pictured here.
Police spokesman Wayne Baker told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We were called to a single vehicle accident at 2pm where a Nissan ended up in a ditch on its side.”
“Both occupants managed to scramble out and neither suffered serious injuries. They were both checked over by the ambulance crew.”
