Burnham-On-Sea fire crews were called to tackle a dishwasher blaze in East Brent on Monday evening (November 16th).
Crews were called to a property in Church Road at 7.48pm.
“Upon arrival, disconnected the appliance and removed it to the open air,” a fire spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
“They then ventilated the property, which was slightly smoke logged. The cause of the fire was electrical.”
“Smoke detectors were fitted and activated but advice was given to the occupiers to reposition them to a better location.”
