Burnham-On-Sea’s Deputy Mayor was officially handed his chain of office this week when he formally took on the new role.
Cllr Dave Parry was handed the cermonial chain by Mayor Eric Gill in the town’s Council Chambers in Jaycroft Road.
Accompanied by Mayoress Gilli Kenyon-Gill, the Mayor also appointed Charlotte Aldred, of the Highbridge and Burnham St John Ambulance group, as his official Cadet.
Cllr Parry told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “I’m delighted to have been elected the town’s Deputy Mayor and am very much looking forward to working alongside Eric over the coming year.”
