Pavement in Burnham-On-Sea town centre shuts after masonry fall

-

A section of pavement in Burnham-On-Sea was briefly closed on Saturday (November 22nd) after a masonry fall.

The owner of Del Mondo Pizza in the High Street was alerted early on Saturday when part of a window lintel crumbled and fell off onto the pavement below, as pictured on the right.

A spokeswoman for the shop said repairs were set to be undertaken as soon as possible.

There had been no pedestrians nearby at the time and the cars parked in front of the shop were not hit, she added.
