Live TV pictures of Burnham-On-Sea’s beach were beamed across the country on Thursday morning (October 7th).
The backdrop of the beach and low lighthouse were shown live at the start of each half-hourly weather bulletin on ITV1’s breakfast programme Daybreak.
An ITN satellite truck was parked outside Marine Cove on the town’s Esplanade to beam the pictures back to London.
